A Note from John
I don't photograph
motor sports too often anymore and this is the reason why.
As I rolled out of the way it ran over
my right leg, fortunately with no injury.

Nov 09. A trip to the Holy lands is planned for 2010, on the way to Europe.
Recently I have been playing
with HDR (high dynamic range) photography. This is a process where you take
multiple photos (normally 3-5) with different exposures (e.g. 1 correctly
exposed + 1 at 1 stop under & 1 at 1 stop over) then combing them all to get
a balanced exposure.
The folks at Photomatrix having giving
me a copy of their program which automates the process. This is a great
program
On a recent trip to New Zealand I had a chance to
visit "middle earth" or Hobbiton (Hobbit town) the movie set where part of The
Lord of the Rings was filmed. Check it out
